# Using Split Screen

1. Open Split Screen 0:00

 * In Jotit, locate the split screen icon.

 * It is positioned to the right of the Home button.

 * Click the icon to begin split screen mode.

 

2. Choose a Page to Open 0:11

 * After selecting split screen, a new tab opens.

 * From there, you can open any item within the same course.

 * In the example shown, a notebook page is opened.

 

3. Work in Both Screens 0:21

 * Once both tabs are open, you can view and work in both screens at the same
   time.

 * This makes it easier to reference one page while using another.

 

4. Exit Split Screen 0:21

 * When you are finished, click the split screen button again.

 * This closes split screen mode and returns you to the normal view.
